JULY 4TH PARADE ANNOUNCEMENT

THIS YEAR’S ROUTE HAS BEEN REVERSED, WITH THE PARADE STARTING AT BEACH 3 AND FOLLOWING WATERWAY TO BEACH 5.

Due to the Heat Advisory, the parade starts promptly at 10am, so please arrive to Beach 3 by that time.

Refreshments will be provided by the Women's Club. If you haven't volunteered to make cookies yet, please just bring them to Beach 5 around 10:00.

It’s a great family event, complete with a small marching band from the community, a kazoo band, a few classic cars, an emergency vehicle from the Baileys Crossroads Volunteer Fire Dept, lots of your neighbors decked out in red, white, and blue, and a few well-behaved dogs.

This year’s after-parade gathering will also feature a patriotic sing-along beginning at 10:30, with accompanying keyboard, song leaders from the Lake Barcroft Village Music Group, and helpful song sheets.
